Remember THIS baby bump?  

Meet Violet - she who occupied that space for 9 months.

Little Violet is 4 months (tomorrow) and as cute as ever.  She is the spitting image of her Dad and has the super sweet personality of her Mom.  

Jordan and Priscilla are moving back to California next week, so we had to sneak in a quick session to get pics of their gorgeous new addition.  

We will certainly miss you Miss Violet (you two J&P)! 

I still can't believe she'll be 9 months when they return!  Babies grow WAY too fast!

Janelle & Trevik - Rexburg, ID Engagements

I must confess - when Janelle emailed me asking if I'd take her and Trevik's engagements, I may have been as giddy as a child hearing the ice cream truck come down the street.  I have been itching to take Engagements since... well, FOREVER.  So, these two troopers were my guinea pigs, and let me tell you - we had a BLAST!  The whole session we were laughing and joking and having fun.  Trevik reminds me so much of my husband - the super goofy, make light of everything, total jokester.  And Janelle is as sweet as can be and so much fun.  I instantly felt we were friends before they were clients.  

Janelle and Trevik met in September of 2008.  She and her friends were jumping on mattresses outside of his apartment complex when he went walking by.  They quickly became friends and a few months later he was serving a mission in Texas where her brother was also serving.  She wrote him a few letters while he was out, and the July after he came home from his mission they started dating.  The two of them got engaged one year (to the day) after he returned from his mission.  He took Janelle back to the place they met, and even put a mattress out to reenact their first moments together.  Here is a short video of the proposal!

Janelle and Trevik are SO in love.  I seriously couldn't help but smile and giggle the whole time because they were just way too precious.  In between shots he was always brushing her hair off her face, whispering sweet nothings... all that gushy stuff.  Their love is so fresh and pure - I just love it! :)

So, I decided that I wanted Janelle and Trevik to each write down one thing they love most about the other.  They weren't allowed to show each other or tell each other what they wrote - and after I took their pictures, they had to erase their boards and swear not to say anything until I revealed their pictures.

Beautiful Bailey the Birthday Girl! - Idaho Falls, ID

This beautiful little gal is Bailey.

She has a birthday coming up next week, so of course we had to do a little photo shoot in celebration of her big day.  Bailey is so busy, she was so fun to observe.  She is probably the fastest crawling baby I have ever seen.  Just when I'd think I had a great photo op, she'd have taken off and be on the other side of a couch or half way up a set of stairs - she is seriously a speed demon.   I think she can crawl faster than I can run! 

We also got a few pictures of 2 of her little cousins as well.  All 3 of these cute kiddos have the most GORGEOUS big blue eyes!

Alana-BABE-ish - Rexburg, ID

This GORGEOUS girl is my Best Friend!

Jealous?

You should be.

Alana and I have been friends since we could walk.  We went to church together, went to school together, played basketball together... did everything together.  We always said we'd someday be on one of those Clean & Clear commercials - you know, the ones that said "This is my best friend [insert name here].  We've been friends since the 3rd grade!" - we would have had them all beat!

Not only is Alana INCREDIBLY beautiful... she is also one of the most talented, kind, smart, loyal, stylish, witty, fun, genuine, crafty, spontaneous, spiritual, honest, loving {and so on, and so forth} people I've ever met!

Among her many talents, she is also an amazing mother to THIS little man!

And while juggling school and motherhood, she also finds time to make the BEST cookies.  Being that she is currently my next door neighbor (I know, we're spoiled!), I get to frequently indulge in her marvelous creations. 

I think I need to live next door to her my whole life.  Let's see: yummy cookies, cute babies, impromtu photo shoots, girl time.... Yep - it's official.  We WILL be neighbors!

This last weekend I was feeling the need to do another photo shoot as well as find some new locations.  Well, she gladly took on the task of being my model and I think we got some awesome shots.

I know exactly what your thinking - seriously?  She's a MOM!?
