Summer in Idaho - Personal Post

This summer Brady and I took advantage of his summer break to go home and visit our families.  We spent the first half of June in Shelley, Idaho with his family where we got to relax and finally enjoy some quality time together (because time together is few and far between during medical school), as well as see family we hadn't seen in almost a year.

It was absolutely glorious to sleep in, lay in the sunshine, and not have a care in the world - however the best part of those two weeks was enjoying our time with his wonderful family and all of our sweet nieces and nephews.  We even got some fabulous family photos taken by my friend Andrea.  :)

One thing I love about photographing maternity sessions is that not only is a couple in love,

but they are in love with their baby… someone they haven't even met yet.

You can see it - it radiates. 

These two are in love with each other 

and in love with their baby who will be joining them any day now!

Kristin & Joe - Des Moines Wedding Photographer

I realize now that I forgot to post this session a couple months ago.

Joe & Kristin are getting married in October and I'm so looking forward to being there to witness their exchanging of vows. For their engagement session we started out at WaterWorks Park (I LOVE this park in early May), and then we headed downtown to the library and finished up on top of a parking garage.  The light towards the end of our shoot was absolutely gorgeous.

These two are so fun and so in love.  

I'm so happy they've found each other! :)

(pay no mind to the discoloration thanks to blogger - some of these look red or brown… weird!)
