Beautiful Bailey the Birthday Girl! - Idaho Falls, ID

This beautiful little gal is Bailey.

She has a birthday coming up next week, so of course we had to do a little photo shoot in celebration of her big day.  Bailey is so busy, she was so fun to observe.  She is probably the fastest crawling baby I have ever seen.  Just when I'd think I had a great photo op, she'd have taken off and be on the other side of a couch or half way up a set of stairs - she is seriously a speed demon.   I think she can crawl faster than I can run! 

We also got a few pictures of 2 of her little cousins as well.  All 3 of these cute kiddos have the most GORGEOUS big blue eyes!

Alana-BABE-ish - Rexburg, ID

This GORGEOUS girl is my Best Friend!

Jealous?

You should be.

Alana and I have been friends since we could walk.  We went to church together, went to school together, played basketball together... did everything together.  We always said we'd someday be on one of those Clean & Clear commercials - you know, the ones that said "This is my best friend [insert name here].  We've been friends since the 3rd grade!" - we would have had them all beat!

Not only is Alana INCREDIBLY beautiful... she is also one of the most talented, kind, smart, loyal, stylish, witty, fun, genuine, crafty, spontaneous, spiritual, honest, loving {and so on, and so forth} people I've ever met!

Among her many talents, she is also an amazing mother to THIS little man!

And while juggling school and motherhood, she also finds time to make the BEST cookies.  Being that she is currently my next door neighbor (I know, we're spoiled!), I get to frequently indulge in her marvelous creations. 

I think I need to live next door to her my whole life.  Let's see: yummy cookies, cute babies, impromtu photo shoots, girl time.... Yep - it's official.  We WILL be neighbors!

This last weekend I was feeling the need to do another photo shoot as well as find some new locations.  Well, she gladly took on the task of being my model and I think we got some awesome shots.

I know exactly what your thinking - seriously?  She's a MOM!?

Winter? Is that You? - Personal Post

Remember when winter used to look like this?  Yes, one year ago, this is what winter looked like! 

As for this year?  We've got nothing!  Don't get me wrong, I am more than thrilled to have clear ice-free roads driving to and from work every day... but really - I want it to either be snowy and pretty, or else warm and blossomy.  No more of this in-between ugliness!  

Below is a picture of my husband and I on Valentines Day.  Yes, it was a sad day for me... I lost my Alberta license plates!... but that's besides the point.  Do you notice the ground?  Do you see the yellow grass in the background?  And is that a t-shirt I'm wearing?

This is just BIZARRE! 

Hopefully we either get a few beautiful weeks of white fluffy snow, or else it just warms right up and starts looking pretty outside again.  I'm tired of brown grass and cold wind.  It's way over-rated!

Enough venting.

We of course had to celebrate with a little One-Year Session.  She was more than EXCITED to have a balloon to play with and a cupcake to munch on!  She was one happy camper!
