Josh & Kasi - Anniversary Photography

Meet my cousin Josh and his gorgeous wife Kasi.

Kasi and Josh just celebrated their first anniversary, and believe it or not, it was my first time meeting Kasi.  She is so perfect for Josh and you can tell that they are one of those couples who are always having fun and goofing around.  I knew when she said she wanted a "Carnival Themed Session" that we'd be in for a treat!  We headed to Tautphaus Park Funland for our session, and I think it was the perfect setting for these love birds!  We were all giggles for most of our session, and I have no doubt that's how life is on the daily for them!

My mom was in town for a couple days and was able to come with me to their session, and she was the PERFECT assistant.  She made great suggestions, bought popcorn and ice cream cones, and gave me ego boosting comments during our shooting.  It was so fun to have her with us and to be able to show her what I love to do.

Thanks again Kasi & Josh (& mom)!  I hope we get to see you a little more frequently and that you pay Idaho another visit soon! :)  Here are some images from your session!

My Best Friends Wedding - Personal Post

Two weeks ago, I had the privilege to attend my very best friends wedding in the Bountiful Utah Temple.  Kaiti and I have been best friends since we were 2 years old when her family moved into our ward.  Our families spend every Christmas together (Eve at my house, Day at her house) and have done several vacations together including camping in Invermere, Sandpoint, and Summerland, as well as family getaways to Mexico and Mommy-Daughter Trips to Hawaii.  We have been inseparable our whole lives (to say the least) and have been through thick and thin with one another.

Kaiti has the biggest heart of anyone I know.  She has the most tender spirit and is so kind and compassionate to all she meets.  She is such a hard worker in all she does and is always willing to do what it takes to achieve her dreams.  She gives the best advice and makes sure you always know she loves you.  I'm sure lucky to have a best friend as wonderful as her.

I was not the photographer at her wedding, but I of course couldn't resist snapping a few candids of her coming out of the temple.  She looked absolutely stunning and her whole day was beautiful from start-to-finish.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Olson!  Love you!

[DISCLAIMER: I snagged these photos from my facebook, so the quality is not fab... don't judge! ;)]

These two gals are my best friends in the whole world.  Aren't they GORGEOUS!?

Kate & Tyson - Southeast Idaho Anniversary Photography

This beyond cute and hilarious couple is my sis-in-law and her hubby!

We've been trying to do some anniversary photos for months now (Kate and Tyson's Anniversary was actually back in February) - but our schedules have always conflicted, so I was excited that we FINALLY found a time to do their photos.  Sadly, Kate and Tyson moved to Vernal this week (total bummer!) but I'm so excited for them to start this new journey together.  And I'm also super stoked that we got to do their photos before they moved.  It was fun to have my hubby tag along with us and keep us all laughing, and to just be able to spend some time together before they took off.

We all felt rather adventurous during this shoot.  Just in walking through to this little place in the trees we encountered water snakes and a MILLION mosquitos.  I was stupid and wore shorts and flip flops... but I think we were all a great big feast for those little skeeters.

Wanna see how my husband protected himself during the shoot?

Kate & Tyson, I'm glad we FINALLY got your photos done!  Thanks for hanging out with us crazies! Love you, and good luck on your Vernal adventures!
Here are a few of your photos!

Before & After/Personal Photos Edited

For those of you who don't know yet, I offer a service where I will edit your personal photos for you so you can be proud of the photos you hang on your wall, whether or not they are done professionally.

My sister-in-law got married over a year ago, and the disk she bought from her photographer did not include any edited photos (which she was rather bummed about).  She has asked me if I would edit a few of her photos for her so she can print them and hang them around her house.

Here is just one of the photo's I edited.  It goes to show that even just a little bit of editing can greatly improve the appearance of a photo.

I repeat - I did NOT take this photo (although it is gorgeous and I wish I could claim it), but I did enhance it.

Wyler Fam/Class of 2012 - Family/Portrait Photography

Meet the Wyler Family.

My husband and I have known this cute little fam from the time we were married (over 2 years) and have been able to see little Mia grow from the time she was in her mama's tummy!  They are probably the nicest people you will ever meet, and have been such wonderful neighbors to us as well.  This session was not just about capturing their family, but also to congratulate Daniel on his graduation from BYU-Idaho.  I know his family is sure proud of him!

Wyler Fam, enjoy your sneak-peek!

Okay, can everyone please note how incredibly ADORABLE her little cap and gown are?
A lady in our ward who is close with the Wylers made the miniature graduation gown, while Diana's fam found the hat at the thrift store and sized it down to fit the little munchkin!

I seriously about died seeing her run around in it!

There you have it Wylers!
Congratulations again on your graduation Daniel!  And best of luck on everything the future holds for you guys!
